Dr. Anu Asaithambi is a highly qualified Pediatric Nephrologist with advanced training from St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, where she completed her DM in Pediatric Nephrology. She earned her MD in Pediatrics from AIIMS, New Delhi, and MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai.
She specializes in the diagnosis and management of kidney diseases in infants, children, and adolescents, with expertise in chronic kidney disease (CKD), nephrotic syndrome, glomerular diseases, congenital kidney and urinary tract disorders (CAKUT), pediatric hypertension, urinary abnormalities, recurrent urinary tract infections, kidney stones, tubular disorders, and acute kidney injury.
Dr. Anu has extensive experience in pediatric dialysis, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis, as well as the care of children undergoing kidney transplantation. She is trained in advanced pediatric nephrology procedures, including ultrasound-guided kidney biopsy, dialysis access procedures, and critical care nephrology therapies such as CRRT and plasmapheresis.
